Learn With Us
Rockhounds sharing what we love — every specimen, conversation, and discovery.
Our Approach
At High Ho Gems, Inc., crystal education is part of what we share every day. Jeff has been collecting rocks and minerals on and off since he was seven years old, and Jess has been collecting since she was a teenager. Our personal experience and enthusiasm continue to grow with every new specimen, conversation, and discovery.
We provide informal crystal education whenever you visit the store. If you have questions about a crystal, mineral, rock, fossil, or other natural treasure, please ask us. We are happy to share what we know, help you explore possibilities, and learn alongside you.
We are not geologists—we are rockhounds, just like many of you. If something is shiny, unusual, strange-looking, fascinating, speaks to us, or simply brings us joy, we will probably want to collect it. 😁
We also offer occasional crystal classes, and crystal education may be included in some of our Reiki or Chakra classes. These experiences may explore crystal identification, care, cleansing, energetic properties, practical uses, collecting, and ways to develop your own relationship with stones and minerals.

Just Ask
Have a crystal, mineral, rock, fossil, or other natural treasure you're curious about? Bring it in or ask us next time you visit. We're happy to share what we know, explore the possibilities together, and learn right alongside you.
Coming Soon
Many of you have asked about a Rock Club. We had hoped to launch it by September 2026, but the arrival of new mineral collections — and the time required to care for them — have delayed our plans. Rock Club is still very much on our minds, and our goal is to get it started as soon as possible.
Watch our events calendar, join our mailing list, or follow our social media for upcoming crystal classes, educational opportunities, and Rock Club updates.
